Open Door Cabinet Meetings

Transparency is one of the most important aspects of a caucus, which is why we have our transparency arch. Under this arch, we have this policy, the Open Door Cabinet Meeting Policy. We understand that sometimes our ability to represent the entire sophomore class can be limited by the number of people in our cabinet. By allowing anyone to view our meetings, whether they are virtual or in-person, and see what our caucus is working on, we can allow our fellow sophomores to provide their input and feedback through questions. By increasing the number of people that are involved in the process of planning our next moves, this policy envisions an increase in connections and transparency between the sophomore class and the sophomore caucus. If you want to see what this would look like, you should join our Campaign Q+A, where you can ask questions or provide any other input about our campaign!

Cabinet Blending

Cabinet Blending refers to the mingling of each of our cabinet divisions. Although it may be cliche to say, we want our cabinet to work like a well-oiled machine. And all well-oiled machines depend on two main things, good leadership and strong teamwork. With successful cabinet blending, many projects will be tackled by at least two different sections of our cabinet. This idea is reflected in many of our policies, such as Project Rainy Days, Local Businesses, and Events. All three of these policies can be achieved much easier when tasks are delegated to both the Finance section as well as the Outreach section.
